Location: Rembrandts
Organizer: Volunteers?
Well, the first Thursday of October kind of snuck up on us, but here it is. I'm proposing another informal gathering this month due to lack of proper presenting space. I won't be able to attend myself due to prior commitments, but plan to in November.
I'm going to look into reserving the Eagle Library room again, since sadly our previous meeting space, which was generously donated by jbrauer, is likely no longer going to be available. The benefits to the library location are that it is free, spacious and has a projector. The negative is that we have to be out of there by 8 sharp, so we can have more informal discussion either before or after the meeting. If anyone has any thoughts on picking back up the library as a meeting place, or alternate locations, please let me know.
Thanks!
Chris

October Meeting
Looks like a couple of us have already signed up for this month's meeting.
I'm assuming your comments about the Eagle Library are for November's meeting and that the October meeting will be at Rembrandts.
I look forward to reconnecting with the group.

missing, yet again...
Looks like I'll be missing yet another BDUG meeting due to scheduling another meeting before this one popped up on my radar.
Just went to my Google calendar and set a recurring event for BDUG so I don't accidentally schedule over it! :)
Have a great meetup, folks!
shame
@ mlsamuelson
shame on you for missing again, but I guess we'll have to forgive you again.
Rembrandts
We are meeting at Rembrandts tonight. Our office location is available but it seems a small informal gathering is likely better tonight as many can't make it **cough*** michael ***cough***... Another place that suggests they have group meeting space is http://www.librarycoffeehouse.com/ which seems to be pretty centrally located.

Rambrandts No Good?
Doesn't Rembrandts have an event on Thursdays?
I vote for Library Coffee House. Great Place, more quiet than Rembrants and nice owners. They have a small conference room that we can reserve for free (6-8 ppl) but if it is open, we can just use it.

Looks like I won't be making it tonight, but I swear I will make it next meeting. Have kid duty tonight. See you guys next month!
Or maybe I will make it but
Or maybe I will make it but just be a bit late.

We used to meet at the Library Coffee House, and it's a nice place but has a few strikes against it: 1) The room is fairly small and doesn't have ventilation, so it gets dang hot in there. 2) No projector or large screen is available, and 3) It's not as central a location. For folks like me coming from Emmett, Eagle is much more doable.
Not a deal breaker for me, but thought I'd put in my vote.

Location for next meeting?
The October meeting at Rembrandts worked pretty well. We moved to the back room when the music started, so noise wasn't a problem.
I like Rembrandts better than Library Coffee House, but that's okay too. Rembrandts has more space.
I haven't been to the Eagle Library, so I don't have any opinion on it.
Any of these meeting places are fine for me.
