Drupal open innovation platform

Events happening in the community are now at Drupal community events on www.drupal.org.

Hi, I'm rebooting a Drupal open innovation platform project: an installation profile for open innovation. The project was initiated by Nicholas Wang as Open Hippel. And is now being rebooted as HaveGet. I'll be building on what we learned with Open Hippel, but in Drupal 7. If anyone is interested in open innovation, Panels, Views, or Features, please comment here or contact me. Thank you.

Hi Soren.

Hi Soren, have we met before, at an Open Hippel meetup at Gotanda?

Please feel free to apply whatever resources the TDUG community (Japan-Tokyo) can muster up. We're currently on our way to develop a group site, that promotes Drupal and builds communities. If you'd like to post content or post links at our site I think we might be able to create a section dedicated to your project.

Best regards,

Scott

Hi Scott, No. I don't think

Hi Scott,

No. I don't think we've met. And thank you for the offer.

I haven't taken a close look, but Drupal 7 has improved multilingual site support. Gabor has written a series blog posts about it.

The first part of my install profile is just Views and Panels. I'm porting some work from 6 to 7 and applying some things I've learned since, so I'm not sure exactly how long that will take. I'll post here again when the code is on GitHub.

I'll add multilingual next. My first use case for HaveGet will be J/E. So if there's a meeting about multilingual sometime, I'm happy to join in—I'm interested in multilingual with Panels. Also, Shaun Ward has done some very cool stuff with multilingual via CCK in 6.

Kind regards,
Soren
