Using Blog API to post content in OpenSocial Applications..

I want to develop a flash or simple system to be used as Orkut Application ( OpenSocial Application) So that people are able to post by logging into my website from an Orkut Application.

Their posts will be visible to everyone as per settings in Orkut..

Do I have to use Blog API module, to get Blog Post..

If yes.. please explain, I understand that Blog API allows us to post from Blogging Softwares.. now I want the data from XML/HTML etc.

Please help!!
