The Inland Empire Drupal (IE DRUPAL) groups.drupal (GDO) page has been revamped layout wise.

Discussion threads are now easily accessible. Connect with your local Inland Empire Drupal community by starting discussions on any topic or question you may have about Drupal.

I recommend adding an "Events" tab that shows past events, similar to how Meetup.com has a "Past" events listing. It's not easy on groups.drupal.org since there's no view for this yet but if you'd like you can hit me up on IRC and I'll tell you how the calendar at http://groups.drupal.org/la/events was created.
