Hi everyone!
We have some great plans coming up for the TC Ubercart/Drupal Commerce meetings.
For July, Pam Reed will be discussing the problems she ran into trying to link to an ubercart data table - and how it was solved using rules. Rules are a powerful part of Drupal and can be a help in manipulating some of the data with actions that need to happen -- for instance, looking at a registration date/membership purchase date to determine a role change after a certain period of time.
THEN:
Starting in August, we will begin to build a Drupal Commerce site from scratch. It will be a D7 site for a band and we need to come up with a name for it. We will need to develop the site for it (home page, about and events and contact) and then create a store to sell various items: cds, downloadable links, t-shirts, etc.
This build will happen over several sessions and we will document what we are doing for future online help for our members.
So, I hope to see you on Wednesday, July 20, 2011 at 7pm.
Agenda: 1) attack rules and ubercart; 2) naming our drupal commerce band site
Location:
Advantage Labs Offices in the IATP Building
2104 Stevens Avenue South
Minneapolis, MN 55404
There is parking behind the building and on the street. To get yourself buzzed in, please dial #97

See you on Wednesday!
