Hello, I am new to Drupal and am looking to build a social networking site with it. I have 6.0 installed along with several modules, but Im not really sure the best way to make them all work together. If there is anyone out there that can recommend the best modules and possibly point me in the right direction for getting started, it would be much appreciated. Thanks

Social Networking Group
mwusaw, I've done a bit of work on creating a social networking site for my organization, but we don't have anything live yet. Some of the modules we're considering using are Organic Groups, Date, Calendar, and FlashVideo. I've also looked at using User Relationships, but it seems that a lot of people are starting to use the Flag module for allowing users to friend each other.
Another good group that you might want to check out for discussions and events on this topic is the Social Networking Sites group (http://groups.drupal.org/social-networking-sites).

Thanks for the links Mark. I will definitely research the Organic Groups more, it seems that a lot of people are using that in community sites.
