Multisite great project

Hi all ;).

I´m just facing a big project that involves developing a lot of different domains based on a single drupal codebase. I have experience with some multisites configurations in the past, but not of this size (200-300 domains).

I´m looking for some help in the form of some recommendatios, like which modules could help me more (multisite manager, profile generator, etc...).

And for the deployment, I´m thinking about having several distributed servers... will this be possible with just one master codebase server?
