Proposed presentation "Drupal 6 Base Installation Settings"
As a follow-up to my earlier talk, I would be happy to give a presentation on the settings and other configuration changes — honed during the past couple years or so — for creating a lean D6 base installation, which anyone can use as a starting point for all new D6 projects. The topic areas are:
The presentation would be completely comprehensible to anyone who has spent a bit of time installing and administering a Drupal site. As with the previous talk, this one would be fairly fast paced, and based upon a slideshow contained on a USB thumb drive. It would be much appreciated if I could utilize someone's laptop in order to display the images. There won't be a need to run Drupal or modify code as part of the presentation.
Sometime during the following day, I would make the presentation available as an article online, and would post the link to it in this thread.
How does that sound?
