This is the second monthly LVDUG meeting for September.
It will be held at the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf at 4550 S. Maryland Pkwy.
The meeting needs volunteers to help out:
- First presentation (beginning to intermediate)
- Second presentation (intermediate to advanced)
Snacks and beverages are available from our hosts, the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf.

Is anyone interested in having some time set aside to working on various peoples' problems they are trying to solve?

That seems like an idea worth trying. I won't be able to make it to the meeting next week, but would like to participate in future such problem-solving sessions.
Let's try a different format
Let's try a different format for this meetup.
As we talked about last meetup, let's divide the room up between beginner and intermediate/advanced. Let's all just work on our stuff, showcasing to each other, and just ask questions. Sorta like a group study type of thing. If somebody wants to present a quick problem using the projector, we can do that to get everybody's input.
Let's keep it open and try it out for this meetup, especially since we know the current format isn't working.

That's why I think having the meeting like a study group format would work well. It's like an open forum and we can ask each other questions at any point during the meetup. We wouldn't have to wait 20-30 minutes before someone finishes their presentation to ask the questions we really want answered.
