Hello. yesterday i installed octopus. i had installed octopus about 5 times now. however this time only 6 platforms installed, so i have been trying to learn how to install the rest of the platforms. epic fail is the perfect expression. i even tried to get the other platform by doing an upgrade. nothing. there seems to be pages of instruction missing, does everybody understand this stuff except me?

okay i found this tutorial:
http://groups.drupal.org/node/24991

so i put this in
mkdir /var/aegir/platforms/prosepoint
cd /var/aegir/platforms/prosepoint

wget http://launchpad.net/prosepoint/trunk/0.40/+download/prosepoint-0.40.tar.gz
tar -zxvf prosepoint-0.40.tar.gz

went on octopus and put this in.
cd /var/aegir/platforms/prosepoint
that didnt work , nothing "verifies" so i looked at the path of the platforms already installed and put this in:

/data/disk/sebra/distro/001/prosepoint 0.40

that doesnt work either. i confess i am at a loss how this works. help me somebody!

thanks for answering. you changed the script. i never paid attention to that part of the script configuration because all of platforms were installed before. is selecting "ALL" less stable than having only a few platforms installed? do you recommend just installing a few? i mainly wanted aqcuia 7 and Commerce.

Yes, it is mentioned at the

Yes, it is mentioned at the top of the project README: http://drupalcode.org/project/barracuda.git/blob_plain/HEAD:/README.txt

### Please read all comments for configuration options in both

### README or INSTALL and can be modified/updated with every
### new Edition.

There is nothing "unstable" in the stable release :) It just makes your life a bit easier, so you can pre-define the list of platforms instead of saying Yes/no while it prompts for all available platforms. It is faster now.

thanks, i changed it to "all"
