Anonymous user / giving them a name

Hello All,

We are setting up a Quiz that user must take before they can register.
If they pass, the Quiz register module is to take them to registration.

Administration must be able to go back to the quiz and see the name of the quiz taker.
Unfortunately, if they are not registered, their name is Anonymous.

We tried adding a question "What is your name?" but then the answer must be graded before a total is given for the quiz.

Is there an easy way to have an Anonymous user fill in their name, and then have the quiz results use that name?
