The user profile on d.o. sandbox should get a Jedi section. The Jedi section contains the user's contribution in lowering the Drupal learning curve. On the one hand the profile section could contains:
The Jedi status
The Jedi status, could be novices, apprentices, Master and Grand Master OR it could be a collection of batches OR .... The Jedi status could increase visibility or allow filtering appropriate content. The Jedi Status is something I expect to get mediated by the Jedi Academy
The Jedi contributions
The Jedi contributions could be mentoring activities and learning material and … This may stimulate the Appearance Queue and help feeding many of the Open Education Resources (OER) back to d.o.
Are there other things that should show up on the Jedi profile section?
How to start
First, I would like to have an open discussion about the Jedi profile, but not for too long. After the discussion a demo will be created in the sandbox about the Jedi profile. With the demo we can explore the discussed features and functionalities more practically.
P.S. I don't fancy the name OER, but outside the Drupal universe OER it is a very know term. It seems useful to adopt existing learning ontology. We are already pushing our luck by using StarWars metaphors.

OK, cool. I think I am getting it now :) This reminds me of open hatch.org! I like that it's granular. I can see how i would be able to find a task to complete. Even as a mentor there are goals like there are for learners.
Does a mentor need to be consistent with the mentee, or can mentors be the ones that set up a variety of tasks? I think in the Guilds system it was meant to be a direct relationship, like with GSOC.
This seems like a solution which is more flexible. Cool!
