After much trial and error, I finally got Aegir running in the cloud! This is my first time trying either Aegir or Amazon's Web Services. Being able to provision a new Drupal site with a few clicks is a very neat trick.
I'd be eager to discuss these topics at the September meetup.

Greg, will you and/or one or two of the other organizers be willing to take over planning for the September meeting? I think I will be out of town.
I think the Guild will make a space available, if you want, but I am a bit less certain about the projector.
Also, Joe, who attended last week's meeting, says he will have a space the group can use sometimes, but he is not sure about September.
I haven't called the Guild yet to confirm availability, but would be happy to do that if that is the consensus. Then I would give some contact info to whomever is appointed as point person for that evening.

I'd love to hear more about this. Eventually I'd like to get some of my own sites connected to Amazon's various services, but haven't had time to look into that side of things yet.
