Pulling data from a Lotus Notes Database into a Content Type

I am curious if anyone knows of an easy way to pull data from a Lotus Notes database into a Drupal Content Type?

We have access to LEI (Lotus Enterprise Integrator) and I am hoping that LEI can either push the data directly into Drupal's db or that LEI can export it in a way that Drupal can import.

.. or, hopefully, there is a db access module somewhere?

I have no idea how to do any of that, but if some one has done so I would greatly appreciate some input.

We've had some success

We've had some success writing an agent in Notes to output the db contents as XML and then using a custom module (you could probably use Feeds) to pull the data into a content type.
