I have built this site http://roundtripimports.net.
All content in the site is created as a "product". Now since we needed the get this product page pulled from the taxonomy list page, I created a view to do this. Now from the seo point of view I just realized that i have duplicate content:
http://roundtripimports.net/italian-bread-making-cabinet-0
http://roundtripimports.net/italian-bread-making-cabinet
How do I solve this issue? Will the site get banned because of this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance
Jaya

There is no duplicate content penalty
Well, according to Google, there is no penalty for having duplicate content on your own site, see http://googlewebmastercentral.blogspot.com/2008/09/demystifying-duplicat....
For Drupal-specific advice in this area, I found Jeff Eaton's write-up at: http://www.lullabot.com/articles/duplicate-content-and-you a terrific resource.
Hope this helps!

duplicate content
Google is saying that there is no "penalty" -- there is a duplicate "filter" though. If your site can't be spidered cleanly, the end result is the same. Google's technology is smart, but often not as smart as they claim.
Points to consider:
A huge factor in getting high rankings is to make things as simple as possible for search engines. Getting rid of duplicate content, especially on large sites can make a difference in rankings.
I left a longer comment about it on the Lullabot post.
You're not going to get banned and the site might be fine like that. But if it were my site would change it so that there is just one URL per page of content.
