Hey everybody,
As I have said before, I will not be here for the September meeting, if that meeting is to be held on our accustomed third Thursday.
If one of our regular group organizers would like to step up and be the point person, the Guild will be happy to let you meet there, but we need someone to step up and confirm that they will be the contact. All you would need to do is take a couple of phone numbers from me, and let me give your phone number to the people at the Guild who allot the rooms, just in case there was a last minute switch in room availabilty at the Guild. That's all it will take, but I need someone to volunteer for that if you want to meet there.

Been Busy
Sorry for the late response.
Maybe we should go ahead and plan it for next Thursday? I can attend either way - but making it next week would give longer notice to other interested people. If we want to do it this week then I can work with you and the Guild to make it happen.
There was some interest in discussing Drupal on Amazon EC2. I have been busy and definitely wouldn't be able to prepare any sort of presentation for a meeting this Thursday. I can't promise that would have something for next week either, but it's more likely.
Not sure about the 29th
I don't know if the room is available on the 29th or not. I can ask.
I won't be able to make it on either the 22nd or the 29th, so it is really up to the rest of you. I'm only available tomorrow or Tuesday to even check on the room, so...

If the 29th is available then let's use that date. This Thursday can be the fallback.

September 29 actually works out better for the Guild, so all systems are go for the 29th.
Greg, I'm going to leave it up to you to make the official announcement. Please send me an email at jpro2 [at] swbell [dot] net and I will send you contact info for individuals in charge of meeting rooms at the Guild. For now, you can plan on the Children's Gallery, second floor. Eliot has my signs from last month; if he can make it to the meeting, you can reuse them.
