Developers: How would you improve this module?

I am really impressed with the plug and play functionality of this module. I am a strong believer in the ajaxified user experience. However one issue I have with implementing this functionality, is the fallback or "unobtrusive" capabilities.

For functionality like user login, it is imperative that users without JavaScript can still log into the website.

I am still very much experimenting with my implementation method, if anyone has tips as to how to fallback safely, I would love to read some documentation on that subject.
