We'll hold our first meeting this coming Thursday, Jan 22, in study room 3A of the London Central Library. It's not a very large room, so please arrive early to avoid disappointment.
Topic: Getting to know Drupal (and you) - A round-table discussion of Drupal and our experiences with it.
Our inaugural meeting will be a round table discussion about our experiences with Drupal, both good and bad. If you're new to Drupal, be sure to bring your questions, and the more experienced people present will try to get them answered for you. Experienced Drupal users and developers will be encouraged to talk about specific areas of Drupal that they find exciting or frustrating.
We'll also try to get some group input on future direction, to finalize meeting times, space, and so on. The observant among you will have noticed that this will actually be the fourth Thursday this month. ;-)

Next Meeting: Wed, Feb 18
Thanks to everyone who was able to make it out last night.
Based on our discussion, we'll aim to have the next meeting on Wednesday, Feb 18. Anyone have a topic they'd like to discuss? Something they've found particularly challenging, some experience they'd like to share, etc?
Topic Suggestion
That date works for me!
A suggested topic might be a show and tell of a favourite 3rd party module you use and why. (Maybe bring a spare if CCK or Views is your favourite :-) ) We did this at a recent Drupal panel I was on and I got some really valuable insights on how to use some modules in creative ways.
Dave?
Dave?
Good idea
Sounds like a good suggestion to me. We did an informal version of that last week, so maybe next month we should all try to come up with new favourites. That would rule out CCK, Lightbox2, and Webform.
Also, the Poacher's Arms was mentioned as a possible venue for the next meeting, but anyone should feel free to suggest an alternate.
