user autenthicated create a user-relationship type

how can I do to allow authenticated users to create the relationship type they want?
I can not find anything in the form

I've only been on Drupal for 3 months so i'm not an expert. All I can think of is that user relationships module, with that- users can describe their relationships with incoming and outgoing buddy requests. I'd think there's something better than that but then again, maybe not. I've never seen that on any website like myspace or facebook. Facebook used to have the describe how you met thing which is similar to what I'm talking about. Let me know what you find though, I'm interested in this functionality too. If I figure something out I'll let you know
