I think we may have a large enough membership now to support group meetings. 2009 may just be the year of Drupal NS! Been chatting with Nimzie about it and we are wondering...Do you think an informal coffee shop meet is the way to go for the first one, or would you like something more formal (presentations/structured discussion topics etc)? Should it be held in Halifax or elsewhere? Are you interested at all? What do you think?
I'm thinking that during the first meeting, which should determine if there is sufficient interest, we can try to figure out how to get a more permanent home for meetups, their frequency, and what time/day suits most people.

Hey
I am interested in meeting up. I am located in Halifax. Probably coffee shop/informal setting is the best way to go. I am fairly new to Drupal, I have been working with it for a few months now.
Great. I'm also in Halifax.
Great. I'm also in Halifax. Also leaning towards an informal meetup.
Informal
Yah I'm interested in seeing how others are using Drupal locally - informal meeting might be a nice way to start.
I may even be willing to
I may even be willing to open my office up for this. It's a pretty informal office space that I'm just in the process of getting settled in to, but I have seating and it's spacious enough for 10-20 of us to be able to talk and maybe share/plan some presentations.
I'd love to be a part of putting this together.
If someone wants to email me directly, please do so @ adam(at)shorelineconsulting(dot)ca
Cheers!
I have 2 more people that are interested
Two people from my twitter feed said they were interested. www.twitter.com/wiredvillage
informal - any location
I'm in transition to Drupal from a very initial intro to Joomla. Happy to meet informally at any Halifax location.

5th works for me
I would like to join in for a meetup on the 5th.
I can be there
Salutations:
I can be there - and have the pieces together from the Museam Assoc. for everyone to have a peak at.
Cheers and best wishes.
