I'm looking for local contract, part time, or full time work. Most of my clients have been in New York and California, and I'd like to make a change and establish local connections.
I specialize in making Drupal easy for content owners. I have a variety of tricks to improve the usability of Drupal so that anyone, of any skill level, can easily manage the site. For example, I create a minimal "editors only" navigation bar that contains only a few options that are necessary for the content owner to maintain the site. I also customize just about every form on the site - every node form, the user registration and account forms - to maximize clarity and ease of use.
I am skilled with a variety of Drupal modules, including CCK, Views, Date, Location, and of course rolling my own solutions. I've built everything from social networks with their own REST API, to simple sites (so simple, with automated menu, block, and taxonomy generation, they don't even look like Drupal anymore).
