At PNWDS, in a discussion on the Drupal community, the idea of mentoring received a unanimous "Mmm hmm!" At the last Drupal meetup, I saw a lot of new Druplers looking for help in getting started. I recently attended a Startup Weekend event, and one of the projects that survived is 1001mentors.com, where mentors and mentees can find each other. I reached out to the founders about Drupal's needs, and they've added a CMS section for us. If anyone is willing to take the new system for a test run, you can volunteer there as a mentor, or sign up to be my mentee ;) As we gain some experience from this, we can reflect on it to determine the mentorship needs of the Drupal community.
