Call for help with AS&R's web site
AS&R continues to look for someone who can help with its web presence. AS&R wants to move to a "CMS" such as WordPress, and is wondering if you would like to lend a hand to our non-profit? Please contact Nick Pilch (nicky@mindspring.com) if so. AS&R would like to be able to keep our website freshly updated with all the great stuff we're doing, but the current format does not allow us to update easily enough.
Here's more info. We are currently using a Google Site, which is relatively easy to update, but not very manageable for the amount of content that we have. We would like to move to system that allows for quick and easy updates. Seems like a Content Management System (CMS) is in order - WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, etc. If you've been meaning to teach yourself a valuable skill, and want to learn a CMS while helping out AS&R, now's your chance. Know a student who might want a chance to put something like this on her/his resume?
