Hi,

My issue is; that after setting up a custom display (field arrangement) I get double titles on my nodes. I get the hardcoded (!?) and the one that Display Suite provides. Everything else works like a charm. What am I doing wrong?

I am at the moment hiding the original hardcoded title with the Delta module. Though I dont know if this is proper handling of the issue, at least from a SEO perspective. So a second question, is this a valid "work around" from a SEO perspective? (I have given custom title field H1, which means that I have two H1 HTML tags on every node.)

I am using Drupal 7 with omega base theme.

Appreciate your help

Have you got the settings right?

At admin/structure/ds/extras you may check Page title options. It should provide the option to 'Hide or manually set the page title of the "Full content" view mode'. But if I understand you right (I guess I don't...), you should simply disable the field with the name of the node title. At admin/structure/types/manage/your_content_type/display/your_display_type

full content

My mistake (what I was doing wrong) was that I had not checked my view as "full content", instead it was set as "teaser". Hence gave me double titles. Your help Lars above pointed me towards the solution.
Thank you.
