Problems installing Octopus
Hi,
I needed a video hosting solution for my drupal site and found Octopus.
I've tried it one time and it seemed great but whenever i try to install it there's always an error or two that doesn't allow the installation to finish.
Examples:
HTTP error 404 occurred when trying to fetch http://octopusvideo.org/sites/all/modules/contrib/pubdlcnt/pubdlcnt.php?....
Unable to retrieve Drupal project from http://octopusvideo.org/sites/all/modules/contrib/pubdlcnt/pubdlcnt.php?....
SQLSTATE[42S02]: Base table or view not found: 1146 Table 'aveiro_octopus.watchdog' doesn't exist.

Is it a finished profile or is it still in development?

Installation guide
Please care by installations on plattforms like WAMP or XAMP on windows plattforms.
Befor you can install the the product you have to decrypt the unzipped folder by right mouse click. "decrypt". otherwise you wil get an "permission denied" 403 error
I took 3 days with httaccess configuration an other crap.

Post video on server
i try to install the demo on my localhost, but still need S3 Amazon account,
is possible to post the video to my server, not to zencoder website.
Sort of works....
I managed to install it fine on a shared server and it looks great. But :) I immediately got messages about security updates and Amazon updates and when I downloaded them and tried to run update.php, I got this:
Unresolved dependency AWS SDK for PHP (Version >=5.1 required)
Amazon S3 requires this module and version. Currently using AWS SDK for PHP version 4.8
When i try to install the new version of the AWS module, it tells me it's already installed but if i look for the sites/all/libraries folder to replace it, the folder isn't there...
Result is that the site looks great but as soon as i try to upload anything, it crashes:

Thanks for this nice installation profile, ships with a lot of modules I need for my video hosting platform.
After installing Octopus I got a "Undefined index: distribution_name in drupal_install_profile_distribution_name()" error accesing the Modules page and only core modules were shown. I had to manually add the install_profile variable to variables table using SQL: INSERT INTO variable VALUES ('s:13:"octopus_video"', 'install_profile');
Maybe it has to do with the unfinished install as I didn't want to create a Zencoder neither a Amazon S3 account. But setting this variable and in addition disabling directly in the database modules Amazon S3, AWS SDK for PHP and Zencoder API made octopus work like a charme.
How to get videos to display in a table?
Any ideas how to get Zencoder to work in the postback if one is on xampp running on localhost?
I checked 'test' option for testing without a public IP. And posted a video.mp4 that Zencoder can grab. But I am getting postback problems.

update ok I installed on public server with IP anyone can access. Upload and download works now! Thank you!
