Hey Guys and Gals,
I am in Nampa, and just started with Drupal. I am stumbling, and could use some quick mentoring to get going. What is the fastest way to get familiar with Drupal?
I am working on getting the Answers module going, and am having trouble with it. Is anyone in the group using this module? I would love to get in touch in the very near future.
Thank you

Hi Don!
Good question. One suggestion would be to check out Build a Module.com (http://buildamodule.com), there's a ton of tutorials there on getting started either with front-end stuff or with development. It's well organized so it's also easy to find what you need. If you want to ping me privately, I can connect you up with a free trial to give it a try.
While connecting with someone locally would be great, there's also a list of mentors at http://buildamodule.com/drupal-one-on-one-training.
I've been looking at employing the Answers module over at Build a Module.com to improve the forums, but haven't gotten to play around with it yet. If you have specific questions, definitely feel free to post them here.
If you haven't hopped on IRC yet, that can be another place to get help, though it's hit and miss. You can find out more on http://drupal.org/irc. There's a local channel at #drupal-idaho as well.
I hope this helps, post back here with additional questions.
Cheers!
