Hi,

I am really interested in using the Omega theme. I found a great looking PSD file here

How difficult would it be to convert to a sub theme?

About how much do you think it would cost?

Thanks

Quote?

The design doesn't look too complicated. Nothing's impossible, of course. :-)

What do you mean by "how much do you think it would cost?" Are you looking for a developer to quote on this project?

Keep in mind that purchased themes, particularly those that are not Drupal-specific, rarely provide the desired result without quite a bit of tweaking. For example, the theme you referenced showcased a number of features that don't just appear without a great deal on non-theme-related configuration (content types, Views, etc). The Portfolio page (http://themeforest.net/theme_previews/124851-boxit-clean-psd-template?in...) comes to mind.

Thanks for your reply

Thanks for your reply Scott,

I would probably have to hire a developer in order to get it done right. I am less interested in the the non-theme configuration, but it is the little details that I find often make Drupal themes a little non-premium. Elements such as the comments forms, tag buttons, all seem to work very well on that site, I would really like to have drupals power with integrated design elements such as that boxit theme. I was hoping the Omega framework would make it easier to achieve this.

Using a sub-theme (like Omega) does tend to make theme development quite a bit simpler.
