Advertising won't show up in aside beta help?.

Events happening in the community are now at Drupal community events on www.drupal.org.

Hello I have a Site in development at :

But I can't seem to get the ad to show up. Any help would be appreciated.

The only way that I have been able to successfully make an ad appear is in a fact box. I would like to know how to make it appear elsewhere too.
