I'm trying to set up a system of pay per view performances for bands. Anyone have any ideas aside from userpoints node access?

I used the dev version of userpoints Rules integration, created a new userpoints taxonomy for the Stream, userpoints commerce to buy points in the new category, and created a Rule to grant node access. Since there is only one stream at a time, the points in the category can be removed after the stream ends. It's a bit of a hack, not that scalable; if more streams were required the process would have to be re-created for each stream node. I'll post a link here when it's live on the test site.

I am trying to set up a live, one stream system as well.
And it's coincidental...only Thursday I tried tackling this issue. Same day as your first post.
