Hi folks. Didn't get much response to the last couple of posts about a meetup, so I thought I'd try to rally some interest here in the new year.
Is there anybody out there?
We've been having lots of fun with Drupal 7, navigating the depths of Drupal security, and trying to become a lot more sophisticated in our approach to change management and deployment procedures. These all open up some topics for discussion.
Please respond if you're interested in a meetup in the next couple of weeks. We'll see if we can't get something going. Suggestions for topics or offers of presentations are certainly encouraged!

I'd definitely like to hear about how you're handling change management and deployment, I could also talk a little bit about Lullabot's best practices around this. Ned, since you will likely be hosting, I suggest you propose a time, though I should let you know, Mondays and Wednesdays aren't great for me, and I'm going to be in California the week of Jan. 23.

I've been working with Puppet (http://docs.puppetlabs.com/) at AllPlayers.com for provisioning development sandboxes and other machines. This works well for "regular" VMs such as at AWS, as well as using Vagrant (http://vagrantup.com/) on a local machine. I'd be happy to talk some about that.
