Free venues for free/low-cost training?

Events happening in the community are now at Drupal community events on www.drupal.org.

OK -So! We've done it before, and I'd like to do it again.

Can anyone offer a free venue for training in Dublin?

I'd like to offer it for free or low cost (just enough to cover printing).

Ideally, in February or March.

We mainly need a flat room with tables or desks, and reliable wifi.

Hey Heather

I may have a space or two in my building in Donnybrook.
One room may be able to accommodate 5/6 and another at 10/12 people.

Drop me a mail at Jonathan@ovo.ie if you would like to discuss further

Hi Heather,

It's not going to be free, but the serviced office block where ourselves and Iterate operate from, have a training suite as well as regular conference rooms.

Excellent! I'll follow up tomorrow and email and call folks.

Meanwhile, some have asked about technical requirements:

  • Space enough for at least 12 people. These can be joined up tables or desks.
  • Reliable Wifi
  • Cafes or food nearby
  • Data projector
  • And a white board would be ideal!

Hi Heather, If it's not too

Hi Heather,

If it's not too late the GEC may be available as Conor suggested. Considering that the next DrupalCamp is likely to happen here I can see if I can somehow incorporate the cost into the main event (i.e. if they'll throw it in for free)
