Hi there
My name's Cameron and I'm the owner of a small web development business in Meridian. I'm still in high school, so my development time is fairly limited, but I'm working on a few different patches for Drupal 7. I tend to focus a lot on the multisite component because that's what affects me the most in my work.
Hope to see a bunch of people this Thursday at the group meeting!

Awesome, glad to have you on
Awesome, glad to have you on board! And way to dive into the patch-work. We have several other members who also work with multisite Drupal, so maybe sharing tips and tricks would be a decent presentation topic at one of the upcoming meetups.

New to the group
Hi,
Found out about this group this weekend during the Boise Code Camp event. I attented Joshua Brauer's presentation. I have been using Drupal for over 6 months now and have developed a couple of websites and currently working in another two more.
I work for a local high tech company as a SW Test engineer and have been on the the Hi Tech industry for almost 25 years. During my spare time I work on Drupal, PHP, and most recently became interested on ASP.NET trying to setup a side business developing Web sites.

I am new Drupal user/developer. I have used LAMP configurations since 2000 but almost entirely non-professionally. I started using Drupal about 4 months ago. Until recently I was a firmware engineer writing C to implement a WiFi Router OS. I jumped out of firmware into a new web based service were we use Drupal as the UI and user managment component. I have also started using Drupal to build a website outside of work in my personal time. I plan to use the multi site capabilities in both applications.
I look forward meeting everyone and learning more about Drupal and web design.

Hi,
My name is Cassie Reynolds and I am software engineer/consultant for a technology and interactive firm in downtown Boise. I have been developing Drupal websites for almost a year now for the company. I have seven Drupal 5 sites under my belt right now that I have developed. Plus I have helped add functionality to several others. I really enjoy working with Drupal especially because of the Drupal community. Hopefully in a few months I will have more free time so that I can attend one of the Boise Drupal Group meetings.
Good to meet you, Antonio,
Good to meet you, Antonio, Jeff and Cassie!
Antonio - Considering that you just built the Frugal In Eagle project, perhaps you might have a good answer for this: I've been calling around, trying to find a good space in Eagle for the upcoming DUG (Drupal Users Group) meting, but haven't found anything yet. I've tried:
the Library (booked)
Rembrandts ($50)
Casa Mexico (we're not quite big enough to grab the banquet room)
Liberty Grange (not open yet)
Eagle Hills Golf Course (we can do it if we have a dozen folks who all plan on eating dinner there).
Any additional locations you might be able to throw into the mix?
Thanks!
Chris

Hey Everyone!
. . . wendy here. i'm one of those visual designers braving the steep uphill learning curve of drupal. i'm currently working on an ambitious project, with drupal as the nervous system, of a local website dedicated to art and community, and i'm really excited that we have a local user group! much thanks to those that got it all started!
