Thanks! Feel free to grab a copy of the D7 version and try it out now. Even if you can't fix the bugs just pointing them out will help.

Yes, you can already build your call center...

Hi MarketStone,

Yes, with the VoIP Phone (http://drupal.org/project/voipphone) and Click2Call (http://drupal.org/project/click2call) modules you can definitely provide users with a button that they can click on to interact with operators through the computer. Both modules can be checked out at the VoIP Drupal sandbox (http://www.voipdrupal.org/).

Let us know what you think, ok?

Tropo has our Phono web phone (included in voipphone) being used by large call centers - operators at large customer service centers using their computer headsets and Phono to take calls customer calls. So yes, these are very much ready for real world usage.

Thanks

The big question. At the webinar a few months back You mentioned making a java applet. Does voip drupal require java to be installed on the users computer or the server to work? (Sun might have me in check but not check mate, because i want this app:)

Did You All see that poll where 100% of drupalers are Giant Fans? ( my odd sense of humor because i know Your sponsored by MIT :) (A Great School!)

No, VoIP Drupal does not need Java...

Hey MarketStone,

No, VoIP Drupal is not dependent on Java. The voiprecorderfield.module -- which is not part of VoIP Drupal core -- might use a Java applet to record audio from the browser. However, that module might also be configured to use a JS/Flash recorder to do the same thing.

BTW, I found your poll a little skewed... let the Boston Drupal group find out about it... :)

Incredible Game

Next time Your logged in Leo could You remove the poll so not to take up space.

Later i'll do a poll:

Do You think the future of telecom is satellite internet?
Yes: cell towers are a thing of the past.
No: we will always have G4 and whats next.

Have a Great week Springs almost here!
