Hi again valley drupalers and web geeks.

This group slipped into a bit of a hiatus. Personally, I haven't put forth the effort to organize any meetups for a while - turns out a new job and new (~4-month old) twins at home keep a guy busy :)

Hopefully there are still some folks hanging on here. Would love to spark up some discussions and resurrect the monthly meetups, too (co-organizers plz step forward!).

And of course there is the epicness of Drupalcon Denver imminent... anybody attending?

cheers

meetups and a quick intro

dkanen's picture

I'm totally interested in going to monthly meetups.

I'm currently looking into a way of adding support for some custom REST APIs into Drupal. Also, I have a some experience developing smaller websites for local businesses and organizations in Drupal. Outside of Drupal I do quite a bit of work in PHP, Javascript and Perl with a pinch of Java and C when needed.

"a pinch of java"

"a pinch of java"... I've never known anything java-related to come in that size, unless it's a Paul Bunyan pinch ;P

auto-magically

True enough though in Java's defense it auto-magically generates most of the code, so what I actually have to write is "just a pinch". You just have to ignore all of the XML, libraries, build files and whatever else it generates.

I'm in, not sure what you

I'm in, not sure what you want out of a co-organizer though :P Let me know if there's something specific I can do to help though :)

portable projector

I don't think you have enough gadgets... how about picking up one of those little portable projectors? :D
