Hi Guys
I missed the last meet up but I'd like to propose that this month we hold the meetup in our offices and that it would be nice to have some talks and maybe do some work on the drupal ireland website. Whaddaya reckon Síle?
So to kick off I would be up for doing a talk on javascript in drupal and the Backbone API module that should be presentable by the time the meet up comes along. Would any one else be up for doing a bit of a talk? Lets discuss/argue/agree and come up with something awesome!!
ps the office is on baggot street so we can always go for a pint afterwards!!

I would say 6:30 to get everyone there at a reasonable time. and we could go to any number of places after, toners, o donoghues, gingerman.....
Be nice to get an idea of numbers, so get in touch all you dublin drupal people!!

You must all know the date of the meetup and I just missed it.
Of course I would rather go to one in Galway! as I can only make it if had other business around that time.

Dublin meetup
Hi,
I'd certainly be interested in meeting up in Dublin! I am still very new to Drupal and climbing a 'vertical cliff' of a learning curve at present!
Many thanks to the offers of meeting locations in town! I've also come across a hotel, the Tara Towers in Merrion Gates between Ballsbridge and Booterstown that's offering a free function room, I don't know what their terms are.

the meetup is on the last tuesday of the month. We'll be meeting in the Studio Rua office on 24 Lower Baggot Street. I'd be happier to have it here for this month and keep it central, If numbers are too large we can look at having it somewhere else next month. I think DIT are pretty good for letting people use their facilities.
PS if anyone wants to talk about any topic, It'd be great to hear from you.

I can do something. We can do it barcamp style and see what ppl there are interested in.
I don't think the presentations have to be long. Maybe we should aim for a good few short sessions, with most people contributing. Ideas for short session topics could be things like: Something I learnt in the last month, How to configure X module, Comparison of similar modules, Case studies, etc.
