I want to join in, but I keep missing them

events in international group
You can just track http://groups.drupal.org/internationalization and see events submitted there. We can maybe set up a separate view of just events, but the D8MI events are timed every second Wednesday the same time (unless moving a bit in rare cases), so you can just rely on those timeslots (i.e. next one is the Wed after next week).
Good overview for new contributors
That had a good overview for people new to contributing on the project.

Agreed. It seemed like it will not have value to post, but more and more into the meeting it turned out to be very good for someone starting out to read. :)
