Drupal Coworking Friday @theskiff Brighton on February 24, 2012

The Skiff, Brighton's coolest coworking space (which has just doubled in size so consider joining up before it fills up again!) is the location for Drupal Coworking Friday, a worldwide event spurred in part by the DrupalEasy Podcast #65 which featured Droplabs, a Drupal coworking space in Downtown Los Angeles, and from whom I mostly ripped this text ;). We're in Downtown Brightoncisco and are happy to host anyone in our local community or who is just passing through for some coworking on the last Friday of each month for some coworking. This event is free!

About Drupal Coworking Friday:

• Proposed date: Last Friday of each month
• It takes place in your local city
• Anyone can start/host one
• Focused on Drupal Professionals (freelance, fulltime, part time, in office, home, etc.)
• This is not a meetup, code-sprint, BoF or presentation
• Attendees would still do their regular work/calls/etc
• Other Drupal folks would be there to talk to, collaborate, advise (and likewise for the attendee)
• Ideally, an entire section of the space will be dedicated for Drupal professionals

Just bring your laptop, your business cards or whatever else you need. There's a small tuck shop in the space for snacks, plus plenty of shops near for more substantial food & drink.

[edit: I understand until end Feb you can have a free "taster" day so please ask if you're not yet a member!] You will need to be at least a basic member ('skiffmate') in order to come along - this is only £25pcm and gives you two days use of the space per month plus helps support out local community space!
