WNYDUG is set for another all-online meetup.

Once again we will use the Google+ "Hangout" video conferencing tool. Check it out in advance at http://plus.google.com/ where you can get a Google+ account, if need be, plus any audio/video plugin for a smooth setup.

Since the hangout is limited to nine participants, try to sign up in advance on this g.d.o event page.

I'll be the host (John P. Weiksnar / jpw1116). There should be a status message with a "Join Hangout" option on our new Google+ page, “Western New York Drupal User Group.” A headset/mic will probably give the best results . . . and please mute when typing.

AGENDA:

  1. “Prepping for Denver” -- Are you attending Drupalcon next month? Whether or not, we will cover the scheduled sessions, trade opinions on the event, share tips for newbies, etc.

  2. “D-camp WNY II” -- We will cover the prospect of running another Drupal camp, in Rochester this time. We are eying May. Be prepared to give your input on this before our planning window shuts.

  3. Any remaining leap year business

If you have any questions or want to test out your setup ahead of time, look for me online before the start time.

Sorry, I have a schedule conflict during the meeting (I'm giving a training event at that time).

I will be at DrupalCon in Denver, so I look forward to seeing whomever will be going!

Re: DrupalCamp WNY: The Quickening, please let me know what the corporate sponsor levels are; I may be able to secure some funds.

Finally, March 8th will be "Wear Your EFF Swag to Work" day - https://www.eff.org/event/wear-your-eff-swag-work-day - support a legal voice in the fight for internet freedom.

I'm also attending DrupalCon Denver in March. I am willing to share my room at the Grand Hyatt (1750 Welton Street, Denver, CO) if any other WNYDUGers are considering attending.
