Hi DC Drupalers,
I'm looking for some new office space in DC or Maryland and thought some of you may have space to rent. I'm looking for an office with solid high-speed for my IP phone and my laptop and preferably some wifi or an option to setup my own wifi for my iDevices. I would prefer a closed office but would consider a cube-farm or open concept office.
I have been renting office space in the Metro offices at the Friendship Heights Metro building at 2 Wisconsin Circle for the past 8 years and am looking to make a change. My home and head office is in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada but I have kept an apartment and an office in DC since 2000 and work about 1 week per month in DC. My clients are well established and I would not be looking to compete with any other Drupal firms but I may have an opportunity to bring others in on my larger contracts. It could be a mutually beneficial arrangements and I am happy to pay an appropriate rent for the space. Obviously I use Drupal or at least php for all my web projects.
My apartment is in Grosvenor/Strathmore so I would prefer something within walking distance of the Red Line Metro but that is not an absolute must.
I've made it to a couple of the DC-PHP and GeoNerds DC meetups so may have met some of you there in the past. I haven't made it to a DC Drupal meetup yet but I am hoping that will change and would be happy to meet there or at the office space to discuss the possibility of a rental agreement.

It's a great space full of other web freelancers and technology startups. The Dupont metro is pretty close. Lots of food around. There is also Geek Easy:

I haven't been, but I think they have full private offices for rent. D.io doesn't have private offices for rent, but does have private desks you can get. D.io isn't a huge space; I'm pretty sure GE is bigger.

Those both look very interesting jemond. Do you know if either have any mailing address solutions? I will need a mailing address in the area and don't think my clients would appreciate a P.O. box. Regardless of my rental decision I will certainly check both of these places out.

Hey James,
Not sure about GeekEasy, but for District.io you get to use the office street address for any mailing needs you have. Packages will be held by the office manager and letters get filed into a mailbox at the front of the office.
