Sorry, this isn't the answer you are looking for, but Openscholar isn't in zip format for a reason. If you tar your files and then gzip them, they are compressed so much smaller. If you are running windows, download 7-zip. Download the file from Openscholar, unzip it and then un tar it using 7 zip. Now you can create your own zip file if you want. If you aren't running windows, you can probably use a program for your system that will do the same thing as 7-zip. Or, you could always use the command line. If you are new to command line, download putty and then google how to untar a file.

Could someone please help me find an OpenScholar download in zip format?
I've googled and drupal searched and tried Terminal, but nothing's working.
