Hey everyone, local Drupal Developer here looking for learning opportunities in PHP. I have sort of hit the ceiling in my development in Drupal because my PHP chops are definitely subpar. Self-taught with Drupal books, Lynda.com, ThinkVitamin.com, BuildaModule.com, NodeOne, MustardSeed etc etc. I keep realizing that in order to really get better I have to focus on just learning PHP for now. I am a little tired of learning on my own and I want to join a classroom setting for one-on-one instruction. Does anyone have any suggestions on college resources/training in the area for someone that is interested in ZEND certification in PHP?
Thanks!

ways to learn PHP
Dan,
I'm not able to directly answer your question. I'm in the same boat as you. I too have taken Drupal and PHP courses at Lynda and they are very good, except they are just a start. I have heard from a serious Drupal programmer that http://drupalize.me/ is the best online Drupal training resource, in part because they are dedicated to Drupal. I'm pretty sure they would cover PHP to some extent, though they do not list any PHP courses.
Let us know what you find out.
