I'm having problems with articles not appearing on the "Front" page. I created an Article using the default setup with the D7 of NodeStream. After publishing it to the homepage, nothing appears. The article is assigned to /taxonomy/term/5 . When I click on the Front menu item, I get this URL: /taxonomy/term/5/# -- but no Article.

Have you made sure that the article is published? Articles are not published by default in NodeStream to allow for workflow solutions like workbench. The next alpha version of NodeStream will fix this so that auto publishing is enabled except when workflow is enabled.

On your article page, there
On your article page, there should be a tab called "Promos". Click on that. There should be at least one promo created already, click edit on that promo. Make sure that the promo has both a category (for instance front page) and a region (for instance main (1 col), this is what makes the articles appear on the front page.
Check the front page again, and see if it shows up.
If all else fails, try to clear the cache (Administration => Development => Performance, and then click clear cache). This should not be necessary, so please report a bug if you have to do this.

@fabsor, @ithacaindy it seems like moving a promo to frontpage after article has been published does not work. Or rather you have the promo published on front page but when you click on it it links to a white screen instead of the article....However if while creating the article under the category tab we assign the promo to the front page the link afterward works well....my guess is this has to do with some rule that is not fired after the article has been published however i don't know nodestream that well to track this rule do you have an idea?
