The Gainesville Drupal Users Group (GatorDUG) will be meeting this Thursday (3/8/12) at the downtown Alachua County Library (in the Foundation Room). The meetup starts at 6 and ends at 8pm.

This week, Mike will be giving a presentation on Search Engine Optimization and Drupal. This presentation was given recently at the 2012 Florida Drupal Camp.

Also this week, Brandon will be putting together a presentation demo on core blocks vs boxes and how they work with spaces.

If you're interested, join the meetup! We're open to everyone from newbies to ninjas. Join us on www.GatorDUG.org.

See you this Thursday!

To clarify; I will be talking

To clarify; I will be talking mostly about Context and how it manages blocks. I will include some info about what boxes and spaces does in relation. Maybe even a dash of panels in comparison! We'll see how much my brain can spew...

Reminder, the Gatordug meetup is tonight. See everyone at 6pm at the Alachua County Library HQ (in the foundation room)!

Followup and Links from Last Night

Reminder to all of last night's attendees, here's the link to the Gainesville Web Developers meetup I was talking about: http://meetup.gnvwebdev.com/

Also, thanks to Brandon for an excellent presentation on context/spaces/features/boxes. I learned a lot, and have been dissecting the contexts in Open Public for tips and tricks!

Also, it was suggested that we have an additional meetup per month. Does anyone want to discuss? Or possibly, people might want to carpool over to the inaugural Jacksonville Drupal Meetup (http://groups.drupal.org/node/209668)?
