It is that time again! We'll review current top priority tasks and discuss new ones to work on.
We are setting ourselves in direction for the sprint at/after Drupalcon Denver. There are some very exciting patches close to being ready and/or landing like introducing some new special languages on the API level, so we can figure out how to expose them best on the UI at Drupalcon. Also made good progress on some interface translation patches that need a final push before Drupalcon, so we can build on their success and move forward. Fixing the ever present issue of no discovery support for singular/plural pairs and providing a UI for them is on the plate now as well as introducing customized string tracking.
I'd love to be able to work with you all at Drupalcon to solve even more user problems and move forward with our progress introducing language all around. Help and reviews on the current issues as well as any other issues is welcome!
The meeting is in the #drupal-i18n channel on IRC. See http://drupal.org/irc for more information. The time above is marked with UTC - check in your own timezone.

Time change in North America...
For those in North America the meeting time works out to 1pm (13h00) in Eastern Time.
On the west coast of North Amercia that is 10am Pacific Time.
meeting log posted
I've accidentally closed my IRC window instead of saving the log (menu items were close enough). Thankfully I managed to piece together the log from webchick and DesireJM's logs. Thanks for both of them, we have a complete log here:

The meeting was very insightful this time on the big things in D8MI.
Thanks
Definitely good stuff in that meeting... I really liked webchick's:
"[18:18:29] webchick: I <3 sane API too, but I hate i18n requiring 50 modules and a bit of bandy-wire to get right, so it'd be nice to see the focus start to shift more to end-user features from API consistency.
[18:18:35] webchick: just my 2 cents"
After having going carefully through those 50 modules and bandy-wire ;)
