For the creation of a bookstore, I am currently developing a module for retrieving information from a book (author, summary, front cover) directly from Amazon Web Services, and insert them in a CCK node.

Yes please Jeremy - I am trying to create a simple bookshelf for each of my Authors and it sounds like that's exactly what you've been working on!
I see that there are quite a few modules around for Drupal 5 but I am only developing in Drupal 6 and I just can't find some really simple info on how to start.
All I want to achieve is to be able to attached a 'Author name' field to my 'Author' node then somehow pull in (import) all the books by that author - image and all. Can you module do such a thing?
