Hi all,
I am fairly new to Drupal. I was wondering if anyone would be interested in being a tutor? Primarily I want to gain more in depth knowledge of module development (PHP), and advanced themeing.

Second, make sure you get to the meetups - the Columbia (Maryland) meetup is good for advanced topics, Baltimore for beginner topics (and happy hour :D) and DC for networking. I don't know what the NoVa landscape looks like.
Third, look into co-working groups near you. You'll be able to take on real-world problems with people around to answer stupid and non-stupid questions (yes, there are stupid questions - we don't mind).
Fourth, get to know your craft beers - local and otherwise. Put a good beer in a Drupalista's hand and they will start talking.
