6 grid-2 columns in a container-12

See the image: I want the menu item 1, menu item 2 etc 2 columns. And I have them grid-2 as you can see. However they seem a little too short, and I cannot figure out what I am doing wrong....

Turn off Theme Developer Module

Then look again. That module often goofs things up when active.

The theme developer module,

The theme developer module, and the regular developer module are turned off now.
And I removed some padding, and margin stuff I added yesterday.
Now the menu items are too big.

See the second screenshot above.

Look at Layout tab for clues

The layout tab should show the total calculated padding, margins etc. from all css calsses applied. That will give up a place to start looking for why it does not look right. You may need to add alpha and or omega classes too, not just grid-2.

Doesn't that defy the purpose of using a grid?

Noe_'s picture

But isn't that the point of using a grid system? Not having to worry about paddings and margins?

I have an alpha on the first list item and an omga on the last, but it still isn't good, so I will look into the padding and margin's using the layout tab.
