Hi all,
I am in the Northern New Jersey area (a little ways from NYC), and am considering a relocation to Texas. I have a single-person studio doing marketing communications with a web/drupal/flash focus. For those of you in a similar business, how are things going in the Dallas area? I'm trying to get a feel for what the market is like.
I've been using drupal for a couple of years, and do light to medium informational sites in drupal (communications is my thing, not application building).
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Drupal market in Dallas
I relocated from NYC a couple of years ago.
We do some local business, and there is a market for it, but Dallas is also a good central point. You can get a lot of space here, costs are lower here, and travel from Dallas to NYC, Chicago and LA is easy and fairly cheap.
In better times you can also probably find a fair amount of Flash work from the major agencies here (more of the ad agency types than Drupal dev shops) such as Tribal, IMC2, Clickhere, etc.

Dallas Market growing
Great to hear from you...I co-lead the Dallas Drupal group and Drupal in Dallas is growing. We are having a Drupal Camp in July (date to be announced soon) and monthly meetings are really good.

Seems like Drupal business growing in Dallas but also number of people doing Drupal full-time is growing as well. Still a smaller market than other cities it seems but we are building Drupal awareness in Dallas more this year than ever.
