Drupal Monthly Meetup Dublin

A monthly Drupal meetup is held in Dublin on the last Wednesday of every month. It takes place upstairs in the Longstone pub, Townsend St, Dublin 2 and starts off at 6:30pm. A PHP user group meeting starts in the same venue at 8pm, so people are welcome to stay for that.

It's an informal meetup where you can meet fellow Drupallers, chat and have a beer. They also serve food. If you have any questions or problems, feel free to ask for advice at the meeting. Usually someone will be there with a laptop, so we can demo things if necessary. :)

There's no wi-fi in the venue, and no area for lightening talks, so suggestions for alternative venues that allow both of those, while still maintaining the social aspect, are welcome.

I actually can't make the one this month, which is kinda funny since I'm organising it! However, I think it's best to stick with a regular meetup schedule regardless.

Hi, Just joined this group today and would you believe was looking to find out when the meet-up's are on. I incidentally went to the Longstone looking for an advertised PHP meet up at 8.00 but nobody there, then I get home and Alan from Galway had sent me a mail to let me know the meet up is on in the Longstone at 9.00 p.m. Bully for Me! Anyway can you keep me informed or let me know where to look in future for dates and venues. And if I may make a suggestion, seen as you might be looking for a venue with wi-fi, I may be able to organise something in the Teachers club in Parnell Square, there is a bar and comfy rooms with wi-fi as well. Let me know if I can help.

Can't make it this month due to:
* minding the chickens
* bringing the kids to/from GAA/scouts/bed
* auditioning for the Tudors (WEDNESDAY 27th or THURSDAY 28th MAY 10.00 AM – 8.00 PM Liberty Hall)
* singing practice
* working late
* canvassing and/or inflicting election posters on the misfortunate populace of the country (sorry people!)
* donating blood

Ha! Just joking, kindof. :-P
Excuse is number 2 this time.
Although I'm doing all of the above this week except for auditioning as an extra.
I hope I'll make them in the future even though I've not managed to spend much time Drupalling either!
