This is a bit too broad question, so I will add some broad answer: yes, it will work.
BOA has some mobile-friendly extras added in its config, like separate cache bins in Speed Booster, Redis and Boost per device, with some basic but working well logic to support different mobile devices, so smart phones and tablets and "not-smart" mobile devices will use separate caches.
just saw this post last night. i appreciate your reponse. i am rather imtimated by dedicated servers. I like the thought of knowing i can use BOA on one as a option is good news. now is just a matter of understanding how these mobile campaigns work and if drupal sites is overkill if all i am doing is dropping apps and landing pages.

BOA also supports out of the box some new modules used in the responsive designs (so those not using separate caches, as they use client-side tricks), like: http://drupal.org/project/ais and http://drupal.org/project/responsive_images
I hope this helps.
